| If you are looking for an ideal, small Parish where you will never be a stranger...You have found the right place.
Established in 1905, The Church of the Good Shepherd is a small, but diverse family of worshipers. We take special joy in our outreach projects and are committed to serving the needs of our community. We share good times and bad together, bound as a Parish family by the love of God.
Our area is one of rapid growth and rapid change. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams has said that the strength of the Anglican (Episcopalian) tradition has been in maintaining a balance between the absolute priority of the Bible, a catholic (or universal) loyalty to the sacraments and a habit of cultural sensitivity and intellectual flexibility. At The Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church we find hope and comfort in the ancient traditions of the Anglican Mass and we do not consider the practice of asking Mary and the saints to pray with or for us as communion dividing.
It is our sincere desire to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and have the wisdom and insight to embrace the challenges presented by our ever-changing world with love and compassion while holding fast to our eternal God and His constant love.
We value cultural differences, appreciate that each individual can contribute greatly to the rich mosaic of Christian life and encourage people from all backgrounds to get to know us better. We believe each of God's children enriches our Parish family with their own individual spiritual gift and our service to God can only be strengthened by inclusion and acceptance.
We encourage development of individual talents and using them to serve God, one another and our community.
We are the Church of the Good Shepherd. The Episcopal Church welcomes you!
